Recipe: Tacos and Guacamole Sauce

Latin American recipes don’t get tastier and healthier than this! First of all, we need to prepare the guacamole sauce.

Ingredients

Directions

STEP 1. Slice three avocados in half and remove the cores. Ensure avocados are ripe to remove the cores more easily with the use of a sharp knife.

STEP 2. Remove the green avocado pulp with a teaspoon and put the contents in a bowl. Add some drops of lemon juice and mix it all together.

STEP 3. Chop the onion, pepper, and coriander into little pieces and add a tiny bit of tabascus (apply as per your personal preference). Mix all the ingredients together and add some of your favorite Argentinian extra virgin olive oil and salt.

There you go! Now, it’s time for the main dish: chicken tacos.

Ingredients

  • Shredded cheese (Havarti, cheddar…).
  • Half pound of boiled chicken breast.
  • 6 – 10 crispy corn tortillas.
  • Argentinian virgin extra olive oil.
  • ½ chopped lettuce.
  • ½ onion.
  • Cream.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Corn (optional)

Directions

STEP 1. Chop the onion and the lettuce in little drops. Put them aside in a bowl.

STEP 2.  The chicken can be diced or chopped. In this case, we are going to chop it in order to mix it with the onion and lettuce we previously put in a bowl. You can also add all the cheese you want and put in corn if you like it, too.

STEP 3. Close the tortillas and insert a toothpick through the center in order to keep them closed.

STEP 4. Get a pan and add some drops of Argentinian extra virgin olive oil. Wait until the pan is heated and put in the tortillas. The oil will give them a nice and golden color.

STEP 5.  Plate the tortillas and add apply the cream.

Remember the guacamole sauce we prepared at the beginning? Now you can dip your tacos into it!
