Recipe: Chicken noodle soup Chilean style

Chicken is one of the healthiest and easiest meats to cook, which goes some way to explaining why it is a central ingredient used in so many dishes and in so many countries worldwide. In this article, we explain how to prepare a succulent Chilean recipe that borrows Oriental cuisine’s famous noodles.

STEP 1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and take a large skillet. Heat a tablespoon of your favorite Chilean extra virgin olive oil and apply all over. Once done, cut the chicken into little pieces and place it into a pot.

STEP 2. Cut the onions into little pieces and sprinkle them on the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes and add the sliced garlic. Add half a teaspoon of cumin and be careful not to overcook it.

STEP 3. Add the broth and wait until it boils so you can add the udon noodles. They usually take less than 5 minutes to be cooked.

STEP 4. Mix the broth with all the pieces of chicken in a bowl. Sprinkle tiny pieces of chive onto your preparation.
